I was genuinely looking forward to visiting this candy store and purchasing several items. While browsing, I sampled one piece of a few candies I was interested in, doing so in a sanitary manner. Everything I sampled, I ultimately purchased. An employee approached me and rather rudely told me that if I sampled something, I had to pay for it. What made the interaction particularly frustrating was that I saw no posted policy or signage stating that sampling was prohibited or explaining any rules regarding it. Had there been a clearly posted policy, I absolutely would have respected it. Likewise, had the employee simply approached me courteously and explained the store’s expectations, I would have had no issue whatsoever. The problem was not being corrected—it was the unnecessarily rude and accusatory manner in which it was done. I was not walking around helping myself to candy with no intention of buying anything. I was a paying customer trying to decide what I wanted, and everything I sampled went into my purchase. It’s not like I was grabbing handfuls to sample. Some of the most disrespectful people EVER!! My daughter who is 6 grabbed what she wanted before we could get a bag and place it in there the woman that worked there that is short and fat with black hair yelled at her. Scared my daughter which she grabbed her candy. We told her that we was buying it and that if she wanted to be that way we offered to buy the whole candy jar that that was no worries to us and more for rest of our kids. She refused to talk to us so I yelled and told her we will never come back the guy that worked there the other day was as sweet as he could he apparently the woman didn’t care to have to store to make money cause there was a lot of candy in there that we was gonna buy. Money is not an issue with us but you getting on to my kid is and apparently you don’t care for that store to make money since we offered to buy the whole candy jar. This happened today 3-10-26.

It's been a long time since I've visited Rivercenter Mall. However, my return to the mall was amazing with It'Sugar as one of the rare gems on my trip. Going into the store, you're greeted with soooooo much candy, knick knacks, candy, pop culture items, and - dare I say it? CANDY! This candy store is SUPER AMAZING! The cleanliness, the many items to choose from, and the friendly atmosphere make this place exciting to go to whenever you're at Rivercenter Mall! The next time you visit the mall, be sure to stop here! It's TOTALLY worth it! 😁🍬🍭

It is a lot of candy and it's great if you like and want candy. There is a lot of variety with both packaged and bulk candy. Lots of unusual candy, old fashioned candy and some specialty candy. I was looking for the more traditional handmade Mexican candy which I was disappointed that they did not have. They mainly have Mexucan versions of American candy with twists like chili, etc.

So much CANDY. We love gummy candy and they have alot(regular and sour). Also lots of chocolate, taffy, and other popular candies. You fill up a bag and pay by the pound. Great place. Go check them out while you wait to go in lego land. Get them kids good a surged up.
